A Poem Love
May 7, 2007 by Shirley Allard
Green blades of broken grass littered the ground
with the motion of loving arms laying me down.
Warm indentations on soft tufts of green,
Moonlight illuminated passions unseen.
Tall trees above us, that creaked as they swayed
in the breeze of the moment, time swept us away.
To a fantasy land where two dreamers combined,
their need for one moment of a warm, loving kind.
Lips that were longing to join and be heard,
eyes that were steady, hearts readily stirred.
Under the darkness of night we were joined,
and whispered together, the words of our poem.

Beautiful and enchanting poem with imagery that flows liquid and lulls the senses.
sweet little ditty.
