Points of View
June 29, 2007 by Shirley Allard
A flower in the open field
Grows wild for all to see.
A flower growing on the wall
Seeks support as it grows tall
And clings to some degree.
The slightest rupture in the fence
Where sunlight trickles through
Calls the flower through the crack
Yet blossoms still, if you look back
From another’s point of view.

Shirley, it’s been a while (since I’ve been here); I’m so glad to be reading your poetry again! Hope all is well…
Hi Ashraf,
it has been a while hasn’t it? As you see, I have a new home. I also have a new publication and I hope I will see some of your own outstanding work submitted! Thanks, it’s good to hear from you and all is fine here as I hope it is with you.
