Day after day you struggle
to be positive
I admire you, my friend.
You have given your all
and never once asked
what might be in it for you.
You have consoled me
assured me
encouraged me to continue
when I felt like giving up.
You have shown such faith
in the abilities of others
overcoming so many obstacles
on their behalf.
