Blank
May 19, 2008 by Shirley Allard
I wish the words would come to me
I wish I had a clue
But nothing yet appears to be
Unique, or even new
Perhaps I’ve talked of all I know
I’ve drained the old think tank
Just like a game of Scrabble
I reach in and draw a blank.

Yikes! Are you having a writer’s block, Shirley!
You’re even poetic when you’re blocked, kid. I wouldn’t stress out over it… it’ll come back when you least expect it.
Oish
I am feeling this
like a stake in my heart
Hey Jo, I’m afraid so. But, I’m happy to see you got your face back! Even though I know how much you loved your quilt square! lol
Thanks Bob. I have never been one to write for the sake of writing. I expect you’re right. Until I’m inspired I’ll just write about not writing!
Hey Oz, Oish, me too! ;(
oooh, it’s speaks so well of what I often go through but it is poetic in the way you have put it together
Thanks, Lissa!
