beyond repair.

Skies of blue
on crisp Autumn days
combine with sunshine and chill.
Lending swirling backgrounds of azure
to  the frost-tinged coral leaves.
Reminders, of what
is in store.

Magic Mountain

Two hands joined, as side by side
They walked through wooded trails
Stranded on a mountainside
Exploring hills and dales.

Trapped by warmth, entranced by night
Climbing ever higher
Toward grassy knolls and moonlit height
They tend the growing fire.

The mossy ground, a feather bed
The tree, a soft warm pillow
No stone unturned, they slowly learned
Of love, beneath the willow.
